PDGFRB and breast carcinoma: Imatinib is an inhibitor targeting PDGFRβ tyrosine kinase receptors, Marion T Weigel et al. found that imatinib inhibits the growth of breast cancer cells and induces apoptosis, while imatinib exerts its role in inhibiting growth by inhibiting the activity of PDGFRβ and AKT [38], and imatinib can improve the antitumor effect of chemotherapy drugs such as vinorelbine and paclitaxel [39].
