KEGG pathway analysis showed that the ferroptosis-related DEGs were mainly enriched in fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis, lipid and atherosclerosis, advanced glycation end products (AGE)-receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) signaling pathway in diabetic complications, Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus infection, hypoxia inducible factor-1 (HIF-1) signaling pathway, and so on (Figure 2D). The gene discussed is AGER; the disease is atherosclerosis.
