The most frequently cancer-associated genes in this cohort were TP53 (72%), APC (68%), KRAS (40%), PIK3CA (21%), FBXW7 (18%), GNAS (12%), KMT2D (13%), ATM (12%), SMAD4 (12%), and ARID1A (11%) (Figure 1A). The gene discussed is GNAS; the disease is cancer.
