CD8A and neoplasm: Patients with high-risk scores tended to have reduced levels of tumor-infiltrating immune cells, involving dendritic cells (DCs), activated DCs, plasmacytoid DCs, CD8+ T cells, tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), type 1/2 T helper (Th1/2) cells, T follicular helper (Tfh) cells, B cells, and NK cells (Figure 5(a)).
