The six genetic polymorphisms of RAS components studied were angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) (I/D, A-240T, A2350G), angiotensinogen (AGT) M235T, angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor A1166C, and AT2 receptor C3123A, indicating that the TT genotype of ACE A-240T is a genetic risk factor for CAD in women [33]. The gene discussed is ACE; the disease is coronary artery disorder.
