Evaluation of refractory RA patients after 12 months of the BM‐MSCT showed an increase in mRNA expression of forkhead box P3 (FOX‐P3) (a crucial transcription factor regulating Tregs gene expression) in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients suggesting an increase in Treg differentiation and subsequent increase in the level of TGF‐β and IL‐10. This evidence concerns the gene TGFB1 and rheumatoid arthritis.
