ZNFX1 and tuberculosis: In this study, we aimed to identify differentially expressed host ZFPs that are critically involved in the response against M. tuberculosis infection and found the zinc finger NFX1-type containing 1 (ZNFX1), a conserved member of the ZFP family, was significantly upregulated in mouse bone marrow–derived macrophages (BMDMs) in response to M. tuberculosis infection, suggesting its involvement in TB development.
