Silencing METTL3 partially rescued memory impairments in both MWM and NOR tests (Fig. 8a–c), reversed the protein levels of synaptic proteins as well as expression and m6A levels of circRIMS2 in APP/PS1 mice (Fig. 8d, e, Additional file 1: Fig. S8), suggesting that downregulation of METTL3 remarkably mitigated AD pathology in APP/PS1 mice. This evidence concerns the gene METTL3 and Alzheimer disease.
