GIP and infection: Remarkably high GIP prevalence and moderate‐to‐heavy infection load (101−16,000 EPG per individual) in small‐scale household cattle in the present study could be due to free‐range grazing on untreated pastureland, vectors, season, no or inconsistent deworming schedule, and the presence of environments that parasites like, such as low land and stagnant drainage systems, in the study sites.
