ARID1A and hepatocellular carcinoma: Clear cell carcinoma (40–57%), GC (8–27%), bladder cancer (about 20%), hepatocellular carcinoma (10–17%), melanoma (about 12%), colon cancer (about 9%), and lung cancer (about 8%) are a few varieties of cancer that show a high incidence of mutations that render ARID1A inactive with loss of expression [2–9].
