Severe toxicities, including colitis, digestive perforation, toxic cardiomyopathy, pneumonitis/interstitial lung disease, acute respiratory distress syndrome, posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome, necrotizing fasciitis, acute renal failure, and hypersensitivity, have been observed in patients who received molecular-targeted therapies such as antiangiogenic agents, anti-epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) therapy, and anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor type 2 (HER2) therapy [117]. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and fasciitis.
