Our analysis of the expression levels of the BCL2 and cMYC genes showed a decrease in the transcript level (BCL2: 17.46% ± 3.26 vs. 100% ± 8.32; p < 0.05, cMYC: 37.56% ± 8.16 vs. 100% ± 9.12; p < 0.05) in the patients with ovarian cancer compared to the control group. The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is ovarian cancer.
