Five genes were associated with BC risk: TBX3 (rs2242442) was associated with decreased risk; TTN (10497520) and MAP3K1 (rs702688 and rs72758040) with increased risk; MLL2 (rs11168827) with increased overall risk, positive hormone receptor status, and low-grade tumors; SF3B1 (rs4688) with a protective effect as well as negative lymph node findings, metastasis, and hormone receptor status [25]. Here, SF3B1 is linked to breast cancer.
