However, while the mRNA expression of a number of collagens was 1.6–2.7-fold upregulated in tendinopathy patients, COL1A1, COL1A2, COL10A1, and COL11A1/2 were 5.3–15.2-fold upregulated in tetraplegic CP patients, suggesting strongly increased collagen synthesis.
