A single-SNP statistical analysis showed more than a four times higher risk of endometrial cancer in the women with the AA homozygotic status within CCL5 −403 G>A polymorphism (OR 4.71 95% CI 1.80–12.34 in the codominant model and OR 4.63 95% CI 1.80–11.93 in the recessive model, p ≤ 0.050, see Table 4). The gene discussed is CCL5; the disease is endometrial cancer.
