VIM and carcinoma: IF staining of UT-SCC-24B and UT-SCC-42B cells in 3D mono- and cocultures with CFs were performed for the epithelial-specific antigen e-cadherin (carcinoma cells, organoids, and tissue-like aggregates) and the mesenchymal marker vimentin (VIM; CAFs and normal fibroblasts), counterstained with the DNA-dye Hoechst 33342 (Figure 4).
