CD4 and malaria: Of note, ZEB2neg memory CD4+ T cells from malaria-infected patients also contained P. falciparum-Ag reactive T cells, although in lower proportion among the memory CD4+ T cells (~15%, Supplementary Fig. 6C), confirming that ZEB2+ memory cells were enriched in P. falciparum-specific memory CD4+ T cells compared to non-ZEB2+ counterparts.
