Specifically, 43 carcinoma-related genes were targeted by has-mir-30b-5p, has-mir-30d-5p, and has-mir-151a-3p (Fig. 5I), and their expression levels were consistently and significantly downregulated in subgroup I. Among these genes, RhoB, BNIP3L and IQGAP2 have been reported as suppressor genes in breast cancer [35–37]; the high expression levels of BCL2 has been reported as an independent indicator of good prognosis in all types of early breast cancer [38]; and the expression silence of Foxa1 has been reported could promote breast cancer invasion and metastasis [39]. The gene discussed is RHOB; the disease is breast cancer.
