CD8A and neoplasm: Further analysis of tumour-infiltrating CD8+ T cells with additional representative markers revealed that dietary TVA promotes CD8+ T cell function with increased levels of cytokines including IL-2, IFNγ (Extended Data Fig. 2i,j) and TNF (Fig. 1g), the proliferation marker Ki-67, the co-stimulatory receptor ICOS and the cytolytic molecule GZMB (Fig. 1h), as well as the stem-like CD8+ T cell survival marker TCF1 (ref. 14) (Fig. 1i) but reduced expression level of the exhaustion marker TOX (Extended Data Fig. 2k).
