SERPING1 and Anosmia: In the study of Grumach et al., similar results were reported; one (7%) C1-INH-HAE patient needed hospitalization, while Bostan et al. also reported that one (11%) of the infected C1-INH-HAE patients required hospitalization, but intensive care was not required in any case.29,30 Although Bostan et al.29 did not report data regarding the course of disease, in the study of Grumach et al.30, the most frequent COVID-19 symptoms were anosmia (77%) and dysgeusia (77%), while these symptoms in our study were observed in 56% and 39% of the SARS-CoV-2 infected patients, respectively.
