Based on the above findings, we can speculate that different patterns of PBK expression have different immunophenotypic characteristics; the anti-tumor cells and functions are increased to different degrees in these LUAD patients with high PBK expression, but the anti-tumor environment in LUAD patients is still poor, and we speculate that the high PBK expression is more inclined to an immune rejection phenotype, which is specific, with high anti-tumor immune cell infiltration but significantly impaired antigen presentation and activation. This evidence concerns the gene PBK and neoplasm.
