In the context of the tumor-promoting actions of lncRNAs, Elsayed et al. revealed that the lncRNA PRKAR-1B AS2 promotes tumor growth and survival of ovarian cancer and that knockdown of PRKAR1B-AS2 by a specific siRNA reduced tumor growth and sensitized the response to cisplatin in both in vitro and in vivo mouse models of ovarian cancer. This evidence concerns the gene PRKAR1B and ovarian cancer.
