APOC1 and glioblastoma: Recently, many apolipoproteins have been reported to be involved in tumor pathogenesis.14 For APOC1, early studies have shown that it can promote tumor progression in many malignancies, including gastric cancer,15 colorectal cancer,16,17 prostate cancer,18 breast cancer,19 cervical cancer,20 lung cancer,21 pancreatic cancer,22 and renal carcinoma.23 However, its role in tumor progression has not been explored in brain tumors, including glioblastoma.
