In addition, the expression of Rpl26, a known substrate of UFMylation, was upregulated by ISO in NTg mice rather than in Tg-Ufm1 mice(Fig. 4K).These data indicated that Tnfaip2 may be a novel UFMylation-related gene that is associated with cardiac hypertrophy. The gene discussed is UFM1; the disease is cardiac hypertrophy.
