The occurrence of ferroptosis is regulated by several genes, such as GPX4, CDKN1A, SLC1A5, and ACSL4, etc. In this study, we found that EphA2 expression showed significant correlation with several ferroptosis-related genes, including ALOX15, ATL1, CARS1, HSPA5, SLC7A11 and SLC1A5, etc., [42], suggesting that EphA2 may influence tumour progression by regulating iron death in colorectal cancer. Here, CDKN1A is linked to neoplasm.
