EPHA2 and colorectal cancer: To verify the correlation between EphA2 and colorectal cancer, we found that the mRNA expression level of EphA2 was significantly higher in colorectal samples than in normal tissues using TCGA samples from the UALCAN database (https://ualcan.path.uab.edu/index.html), and similarly, we analyzed the protein expression level of EphA2 using CPTAC samples and also found that its expression was significantly higher in colorectal cancer tissues than in normal samples (Figure 1A).
