ASH2L and glioblastoma: In line with previous evidence, we observed the following upon ASH2L depletion: 1) colony formation and proliferation of the cells were reduced; 2) apoptosis was induced; 3) transcription dynamics were altered; 4) cell cycle distribution of cells was altered and G2/M transition of cell cycle was blocked; 5) growth of patient-derived primary cells were inhibited; and 6) tumor forming capacity of glioblastoma cells was inhibited.
