The levels of GnT-IVa and GLUT2 mRNA and the levels of GnT-IVa and GLUT2 proteins in the pancreas of the rats with the HCV infection were significantly downregulated compared with those of the rats with T2DM, while after overexpressing GnT-IVa, the expression levels in the rats were upregulated compared with those of the rats with the HCV infection.
