TGFB1 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: Together, these results indicate the gradual acquisition of gene signatures linked to disease progression in MASLD across the major HLO cell types with PA and TGF‐β1, additionally resolving a mixed response in the OA condition, where hepatocyte precursors were the main drivers of gene expression changes observed with MASLD progression, while AH‐, cholangiocyte‐, and HSC‐like populations lost the MASLD fibrosis signature.
