CRP and human granulocytic anaplasmosis: It was noted that, in TBE, (n = 17) < 20% of patients had a raised CRP (average 5 mg/L; range 3–16 mg/L, normal < 5 mg/L), and all HGA patients (n = 11) had an elevated CRP (average 121 mg/L; range 15–314 mg/L) (p < 0.001).
