The meta-analysis of the EMPHASIS-HF, PARADIGM-HF and DAPA-HF trials showed that compared with the combination of an ACEi/ARB and a beta blocker, the quadruple therapy with ARNI, beta blocker, a mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist and dapagliflozin significantly reduced the risk of cardiovascular death or HF hospital admission by 62% and also hospital admission for HF alone by 68% [8]. The gene discussed is NR3C2; the disease is hydrops fetalis.
