FLT3 and acute myeloid leukemia: Midostaurin (N-benzoyl-staurosporine, formerly referred to as CGP41251 and PKC412) is a synthetic indolocarbazole, an orally available small molecule multi-targeting tyrosine kinase inhibitor that inhibits multiple kinases, including FLT3 which nowadays is utilized/used as an antineoplastic agent in treating acute myeloid leukemia with FLT3 mutations.
