Recently, evidence has accumulated that Gadd45b deficiency promotes premature aging and skin senescence [68], and FGFR1 has been reported to ameliorate impaired lipid metabolism in mice with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease through upward regulation of the FGF21/FGFR1 pathway [69]. This evidence concerns the gene FGFR1 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
