Functional assays indicated that silencing SNHG15 in T47D and MDA-MB-231 cells decreased cell proliferation potential (Figure 1D and Supplementary Figure S1B), while ectopically expressed SNHG15 in BT-549 cells significantly promoted cell proliferation and invasive ability (Figure 1E), indicating the oncogenic role of SNHG15 in breast cancer cells.
