Regarding the analyses of first-line biologics combined therapy, the KRAS variant and NOTCH3 sole variant remained significant prognostic factors in 225 left-sided CRC patients treated with anti-vascular endothelial growth factor antibody combined therapy (HR 1.58, 95% CI 1.10 to 2.28, p = 0.01, and HR 0.26, 95% CI 0.11 to 0.60, p < 0.01, respectively), whereas no gene alterations were prognostic in 82 left-sided CRC patients treated with anti-EGFR antibody combined therapy (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and colorectal carcinoma.
