In recent years, there is increasing evidence suggesting FAM111B gene is relevant to tumorigenesis and development, including in pancreatic cancer [12], lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) [13,14], breast cancer [15], papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) [16], ovarian cancer [17], hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and gastric cancer [18,19]. This evidence concerns the gene FAM111B and hepatocellular carcinoma.
