As shown in Table 1, there were statistically significant differences (p < 0.05) between the control group and PCOS women with EPL in several basic characteristics (pregnancy time, body mass index (BMI), phenotypic composition/structure of PCOS, prevalence of hypertension and diabetes, menstrual regularity, dysmenorrhea history) and blood test results (AMH, bE2, bP). This evidence concerns the gene AMH and polycystic ovary syndrome.
