To confirm that this is a general effect in breast cancer we repeated this experiment with six different breast cancer cell lines (HCC-1937, HCC-1143, SK-BR-3, BT-474, ZR-75–1, and MCF-7) investigating those three parameters, which showed the highest and most significant differential response in the in vivo setting (uPA, suPAR, and CXCL10). The gene discussed is CXCL10; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
