Notably, when both serum SFRP5 levels and the TyG index were considered together, the combination exhibited improved predictive performance, with corresponding sensitivity, specificity, and AUC values of 90.8%, 79.4%, and 0.91 for predicting the occurrence of CAD [95% CI (0.87, 0.95), P < 0.001] (Fig. 3 & Table 3).
