Among patients with lower stages of CKD, they showed higher proteinuria levels (p-value = 0.001), lower haemoglobin (p-value < 0.001), higher hs-CRP levels (p-value = 0.037), more tortuous retinal vessels (p-value = 0.032), and higher venular calibre (p-value = 0.01) based on CRVE. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and chronic kidney disease.
