T2D treatment approaches included metformin (77%), either as a single treatment (27%) or co-administered with insulin (23%), glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) analogs (9%), inhibitors of sodium–glucose cotransporter-2 (iSGLT2) (12%), or inhibitors of dipeptidyl peptidase IV (iDPP-IV) (6%); insulin alone (9%), and diet only (14%).
