MAP3K14 and cancer: Moreover, overexpression of SOX17, an additional regulator of endodermal differentiation [83], increased the cis-regulatory activity of LTR5-Hs, SVA-C, and LTR6B (Fig. 3A), while SOX17 binding was strongly enriched at SVAs, LTR7, and MER4A1 in germ cell-derived Tcam-2 cancer cells [84] (Fig. 3B), which share some phenotypic features with primordial germ cells (PGCs).
