The IHC experiment further confirmed that high intensity staining of FABP4 and VWF were both observed in NAFLD-T tissue (Fig. 4A and B), and their levels were positively correlated with CD31 (VWF: r = 0.39, p = 0.0072; FABP4: r = 0.38, p = 0.0084; Fig. 4C). This evidence concerns the gene FABP4 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
