CRP and COVID-19: sPLA2‐IIA levels reflected disease severity in COVID‐19 patients and was positively correlated with the associated ordinal score 7 days after admission (Spearman's ρ = 0.31, p = .01) while also correlating with other indices of disease severity, such as platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR), neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and C‐reactive protein (CRP), all of which differed significantly between patients with severe and moderate COVID‐19 (Spearman's ρ = 0.38, 0.38, 0.67, p < .01).
