PIN1 and Parkinson disease: Alterations in other DEPs—peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase NIMA-interacting 1 (PIN1), CD44 antigen (CD44), and putative tyrosine-protein phosphatase auxilin (DNAJC6)—coincide with what has been reported in the literature in relation to PD, which makes our analysis reliable (Supplementary Data 1E).
