CRP and irritable bowel syndrome: Univariate analysis revealed that younger age (odds ratio [OR] 0.971; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.946–0.997), female sex (OR 2.124; 95% CI 1.009–4.468), the KSRI-SF undifferentiated type (OR 2.676; 95% CI 1.014–7.062), Peak CRP (OR 1.084; 95% CI 1.021–1.150) and longer duration of antibiotics use (OR 1.259; 95% CI 1.041–1.523) influenced the occurrence of PI-IBS.
