IRAK1 and Hyperglycemia: While prior studies have adapted NGS data analysis for diabetic vasculopathy investigations and have established several mechanistic links including the role of mRNA-influenced endothelial inflammation through modulating interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase-1 (IRAK-1) in diabetic vasculopathy [39], hyperglycaemia-induced hypomethylation of promoter region of RNA, which is also a common occurrence in diabetic vasculopathy [40] identifying factors specific to chronic diabetic microangiopathies, to identify genes and risk factors in diabetic vascular organoids [41].
