Multiple studies have explored various prognostic factors for tumors, such as histological type, infiltration pattern, differentiation degree, MSI, Aquaporins (AQP-1) (4, 5) thrombus formation, peripheral nerve invasion, tumor deposits, tumor budding, etc. However, most of these factors are based on invasive pathological reports and cannot be identified macroscopically. This evidence concerns the gene AQP1 and neoplasm.
