As we observed effects of MM control especially in CALR mutated cells, we have used lower imetelstat concentrations, ranging from 1 to 5 μM, than other in vitro studies, which used concentrations of up to 15 μM, and effects of imetelstat on cell viability and megakaryocytic differentiation were reported for concentrations of 7.5 μM or higher (27, 31, 39). The gene discussed is CALR; the disease is Miyoshi myopathy.
