Consistently, knockdown of RP11-367G18.1 variant 2 or YY1 suppressed the tumor growth of xenografted FADU cells overexpressing HIF-1α (ΔODD) (Fig. 6D), suggesting that hypoxia-induced tumorigenicity was attributable to the RP11-367G18.1 variant 2–YY1 complex.
