Nuclear ATR activation in response to replication stress has previously been described as a hallmark of glioblastoma cells.9 Consistent with previous reports in other cell types, confocal immunofluorescence imaging of glioblastoma cells also showed ATR to also be present in the cytoplasm of primary glioblastoma cell lines (Figure 1A(i, ii)). The gene discussed is ATR; the disease is glioblastoma.
